Dtech Engineering was founded and started by owner operator Sadel Martinez.  Sadel has been involved in the automotive industry professionally for over 17 years. Once finding a passionate interest of working on cars in his teen years, he decided that he was going to make a career out of it. While attending local college he switched his major to engineering science with the idea of perusing that to mechanical engineering. It was during this time that he came across what he felt was a more direct path into the field and found a dedicated automotive institute. There is where he studied at Wyotech in Laramie Wyoming. During the course of 2 years he graduated with an associates in Automotive technology with applied service management along with specialty programs in high performance engines/ powertrains and chassis fabrication.

Upon graduating, Sadel started his career out in the field working for BMW as an entry level technician. It was with BMW that he spent a better part of a decade and two dealers learning the ins and outs of automotive repair at a high level. During that time he achieved many factory certifications which lead him to become master level along with achieving ASE certifications and even becoming technician of the year for the dealer in 2008.

After moving on from the dealer world, he went on to work in the independent shop field for about a year, and that's when he decided to make the ultimate decision and open up his own operation. So in March of 2014 he signed a lease to a small shop and started operating independently. With no client base and small amount of tools and one scanner, the doors were open for service and the long hours began. The word of mouth slowly started to spread and the work started to trickle in, and with the help of fellow shops subletting him work and with the tremendous help and support from his wife, Dtech engineering was born. The shop was relocated to its current location which is more than double the size of its original, and it is now an established business to where people seek Sadel to have him repair their vehicles.
